- In let-down mode these pumps can pump at 70 cycles per minute and you can choose between five different suction strength settings
- In expressing mode the speed and strength can also be adjusted individually between five speed settings (38- 54 cycles per minute) and 12 different strength settings (maximum 320mmHg)
- A big plus for this breast pump is it’s ability to set a speed, and on that speed adjust vacuum levels; most breast pumps slower whey vacuum level is increased
- A 30 minute timer with a timer display function

I made the mistake of buying a cheap pump the first time which was so time consuming, until I learnt about Spectra. I went and tried it with Marizette one of the Lactation Consultant who patiently walked me through how to use it.. All I can say is its the best investment I have made so far! It totally changed my pumping game, I am able to get a full feed on most good days from just 1 session. I would recommend this to Mummies struggling with other pumps, just take the plunge and invest in this!

I bought my Spectra S1 a year ago after having trouble with my first pump. Best investment! I exclusively pumped a total of 660 liters, 1300 hours with this pump in a year. I have twins, and this pump made me mobile, pumped faster and increased supply. One of the only pumps that doesn’t lose speed when you increase suction (for those nasty little blockages). I can not recommend this pump enough. It is hospital grade, easy to carry and surprisingly, I used the little night light much more than I thought I would for the 2am pumps. Together with the hands-free cups, it made it more effortless and kept me going for a whole year.

I became an exclusive pumping mom when my little one was only 6 weeks old. I needed something that would be fast and efficient as I would have to pump every 3 hours around the clock! I did a pumping demo with Marizette and the Spectra was the best one by far!
